i have been married for 3 yrs now and we were ttc right from the beginning.The first year went jus like that.I started to take it seriously after 1.5 years.We went to the gynic who put me on jus clomid for 5 months.....no success at all....then i changed my re....I was put again on clomid with an addition of metformin n hcg shot....i ovulated but got bfn....nxt cycle was clmid+injectibles+metformin+hcg......again i ovulatd but got a bfn......i thought i will never get to see bfp....but u still have hopes and i know that Allah is jus testing my patience.so this time my Re said tht it could be my mucus problem n we decided to go for iui. With the same combination of medicines,i had 2 subsequent iuis' in the same cycle.I tested a day after our wedding anniversary and yuppeeee....i got to see a bfp.....It was like a gift from Allah on that occasion.....Currently am 5 weeks pregnant ..and i am waiting to get my scan done in 10 dys time to see a strong heartbeat...inshallah.

I had success through iui after trying for more than 2 years.

yeah... DH and I have been TTC for about 2 years now. We tried the Clomid route for about 7 cycles with my OB but I O'd only once (3rd cycle) out of the 7 cycles. July was my 7th cycle and my OB recommended that I go to an RE already. So now, I'm under the care of an RE. I'm in CD 4 and my RE's regimen for this cycle is CD 3-7 Clomid and then CD 8 onwards Follistim 50 ui. I have to go for a u/s on CD 10 to check my response on Follistim. If everything goes well, my RE will be doing an IUI once I have confirmed Ovulation. So we are keeping our fingers crossed and praying very hard for a miracle :)

axia...i wish u lots of baby dust this month and u will get to see ur bfp.Your RE is doin a good protocol of medicines and with an iui, u have 20-25% chances of concieving this month.My only advice to you is jus try to relax and enjoy the entire process.

I believe u r getting iui for the frst time,it is a simple procedure which hardly takes about 2-3mins..

Ensure that u drink lot of fluids this month especially water,it really helps.

I will check again to see u writing good things in this cycle:)

Hi all. Abt my scan,to my surprise,i got to see triplets in my womb.2 heartbeats are normal but the third one has no heartbeat yet.The dr said that the third one would probably disappear, we wll have to check in my second scan after 15 days.so as of now twins are confirmed.............i jus coul'nt believe this. And dr also said there is a high risk of miscarriage,so some xtra medicnes n injections given.I am jus prayin for a smooth 9 months of healthy pregnancy.My next scan is on sep 17th...

Wow.... twins :) I'll pray for your smooth 9 months of healthy pregnancy as well :)

I did have a CD10 ultrasound yesterday and my RE found 4 growing follicles (2 on each side, biggest one is at 11.5) and he said that it looks good. So I have to go back on Sunday, 9/6, so they can check again how much the follicles have grown and then probably have me do the trigger shot and then schedule me for the IUI.

Keeping my fingers crossed that the follicles will grow so that I will be able to ovulate and then pray for the miracle of pregnancy :)
