you could go on for weeks being this far along but i would deff take it easier if you dont want to go into labor yet.

3 cm dialated and effaced

36 W 1 day. THe Dr did an external exam and couldnt find the head of the baby coz its way down into the pelvis (supposedly) So, she opted for an internal exam and she said Im 3 cm dialated and effaced. But theres still some length. (7W Cervix length = 3 cm)
Now, how long do u think this can last? I want to hold it atleast till Week 37. Im feeling perfect and not that much Braxton Hicks and tons of energy.
Should I continue my evening walks or just kick back and relax?

I think that if you want to go soon, to keep walking as that helps one dialte more, but if you are trying to hold off another week I would probably take it easy.
My friend was 3cm for I think it was a couple weeks with her first, and she was actively moving around, as they had just moved into a new house and she was still unpacking stuff, and was working 12hour shifts at the hospital every weekend.

Wow!! 36 weeks and at a 3. It could be 1wk0 2wk. I was 36 wks when I had my first and at a 3. I felt very sick one morning and then my water broke. That also happen with my second but I was at a 1 and 38 wks along. Just take a easy like everyone said and lets us all know when the little baby is born. Its so exciting WOW!!!
We have it here in IL. I was told abt it in the Hospital birthing center tour. Gotta fix the seat and take it to the city office/fire dept/police and ensure its all ok. I donnt think its the law, but the hospital insists on checking this as they say 87% of parents dont fix it properly and that they wont help u either :)

With 3 cm dialated and a lil efacement could I have lost my Mucous plug. Is it mandatory for the mucous plug to go before dialation? Which means cervix is open right? I have no idea coz I just assume its the regular discharge.
Also, Im using Miconazole vaginal creme. Is it a bad idea to continue using it with the mucous plug issue?

Hope~! This is so exciting- cant wait to see pictures of your little one. Sounds like shes coming soon :) I would definately put myself on bed rest if I was you- and take it VERY easy- that way she can hang on for a while longer ;)

Wow I cant believe your 36 weeks already! A friend of mine was 3.5 cm dialated for about a week to a week and a half before she had her baby and it was also her first baby. Good Luck and please keep us posted!
