2nd Sonogram today and have some questions! ...Dr. Q!

So I'm 11 weeks and a day with twins. They did the nuchel tests (for the nuchel test they say anything under 3.0 is normal and that's what they want to see) and Baby A was perfect - heartrate 150bpm - nuchel 1.7. Baby B heartrate 180 (but VERY ACTIVE)but nuchel test was at 2.7. The sonographer had me go meet with the doctor with a little concern. The doctor called and spoke with a high risk doctor and I have an appt next week with the high risk doctor b/c of baby b! He told me not to worry but I am!

I just want to know they are perfectly healthy! They said the fluid will probably go down on Baby B by my visit with the high risk doc next week. I PRAY it does! Dr. Q what are your thoughts about this number (2.7). It was kinda hard to think there could be a slight problem but the doctor really was trying to let me know this is just a precaution and everything should be just fine.

We got to see them dancing...they are bunk bed style in there!! LOL they were so active and just awesome - their little arms and legs were just moving like crazy!!!! :) It's truly amazing! Baby b wasn't as cooperative and had to be pushed on a bit to get s(he) to move just right to get the test done! Oh and the DH got lightheaded!! haha I so don't think he's going to do well in delivery!!!! he gets like that everytime for something minor much less their birth! haha

Shelly its very touching to hear how the babies are decked one above the other..Really cute..My DH is also like urs, y'day we had our week 20 and DH was so light headed seeing the U/S and was all moist and stuff I was not even close to that. I am sure they are doing this as a precaution. Please keep us posted about the Dr visit

Shelly,

I'm sooo happy that you heard the heartbeats and that they look like they are bunking! That is too cute! I have faith that the babies are nice and healthy and fine. You know doctors are not always right and they are always ready to get us all worked up without answers! Sending you healthy sticky glue! Stay positive, I just not everything is fine! Sending you love & hugs!

Shell- for piece of mind I am a twin, and although its a risk to have twins, woman have them all the time, both babies will be fine..at least you are getting prenatal care, my mom didn't even know she was having twins until she tried to deliver! We were both breech, so a c-section was needed..I was real small 3.8 my sis 6.11..other than size we were healthy and I KNOW you will have healthy babies too!

I had my first ultrasound w/Asher at 11 weeks 2 days so I know how awesome it is to see them moving around. Asher was kicking and flopping all over:) He looked like a little kick boxer. I didn't have all the testing done with him. I didn't want to know if there were something "wrong". He was my baby and it didn't matter to me if he had cp or anything. I know you must be worried, but don't be. Baby B's level was still under 3. Just enjoy having your little blessings and leave the worrying for when they're old enough to drive;)
