23 dpo, negative test

July 23, 2008

Hello,

I am charting and am currently 23 dpo. I have several symptoms of pregancy including sore nipples (never had with period before), exhaustion, increased appetite, frequent urination, and one day of mild cramping earlier this week. My temps have started climbing even higher over the last week which has never happened prior to period. I tested at 18 dpo and 21 dpo and both were neg. Is it possible that it's too early for me to see a pos, or could this be something else entirely, such as a cyst? My doc found a cyst in my right ovary in Feb, but I have had normal periods since then. When should I test again?

Thank you,

Ramsay

how long is your normal cycle?

welcome Ramsay!

Knowing your cycle length is very important, but chances are that it's a little too early to check an hpt

when was you last period?

July 24, 2008

My cycles are usually right around 36 days. I had one loooooong cycle due to my ovarian cyst during which I did not ovulate until cd 51!! I usually ovulate around cd 22 or so. I had lots of fertile quality cm and a temp spike of .4 degrees 24 days ago. By the time my temp really started to creep up (when my period was already late) my cm had already dried up with the exception of some sporadic instances of creamy cm. I have some more dull cramping today and remain utterly exhausted. I tried to workout today and had to stop due to light-headedness after only 10 minutes! I am going to get a blood test next week so I just have to hang on until then. What a ride!

Well I hope you get your bfp very soon!! Keep us posted.

do you use opks??

July 25, 2008

I have not started using opks yet. I think I will start after this if I am not preg. My nipple soreness has gone away, does that mean I am less likely to be preg? My temps remain high, but I did have another day of mild cramping yesterday. I just could not be more confused right now. Why do people tell us to 'just stop worrying about it'?? As if a possible human being growing inside my body is no big deal. :)

Dont listen to them that say stop worrying. we worry during TTC, once preggo, trust me we still worry, the baby is finally born, we worry and then time to TTC again so its just a viscious circle :)
