Welp, I am officially UNCOMFORTABLE..... I cannot get comfortable for anything. I have so much pressure in my cervix that anything I do hurts, BAD! switching positions in bed, walking..ANYTHING hurts.. everyday there is a new ache and pain to complain about. I am wondering if the belly supports will help? I dont know what to do. I called my OB and the nurse said it is to be expected from here till birth, OH GREAT! Sorry to complain so dang much! I just cant wait to have the little booger and get back to normal! *sigh*

Aww I feel like we r so close ladies all these discomforts and issues and talking about labor etc.. Just crazy how our concerns have shifted etc. Sorry don't mind me lol. U ladies have helped me get thru the pregnancy with so much support :) just wanted to say that. Sam I was thinking of a belly support today too. My pressure comes off and on but when it does its horrible feels like I gotta pee all the time. I hope ur bp is improves Kelly n Megan! Mine has actually been on the low end but at least my headaches have not been as bad lately bc of it. Love the pic kelly what a difference :) you look adorable.

Samantha- A pregnancy support belt will definitely help a lot! It just will help to get the baby out of your pelvis & decrease the pressure.

Bad news on my BP, it was 152/90 (I am normally low at like 100/60) right after I woke up this morning & got higher throughout the day. My perinatologist added another med today & I am also doing a 24 hr urine. My vision is all messed up today & this afternoon I started getting a headache. I had labs done & those were stable but unfortunately pre-eclampsia tends to just get worse until you deliver & at only 28 wks I have got a ways to go. I have had enough complications to deal with thus far, it just sucks to have one more thing to worry about! My urine had some protein in it today but I guess we'll see what the 24 hr collection says. 28 wks is just sooo early, I really hope things settle down.

Stef- So happy to hear things are clearing up for you, hopefully you'll be home in no time!

Kelly- I hope your BP stabilizes & that your labs & stuff are ok. Are you on BP meds?

I am officially insane! I have fav nurses, I know what to order from the menu, the cleaning crew knows me.. OMG I wanna go home! Maybe Monday they say!!! Uggg hope you are all having a great weekend!

I had the BEST night last night. My dh and I was suppose to go out to eat for an early birthday dinner (40th). Well......he pulled off the biggest surprise party for me!!! I was totally shocked and I started to cry. My parents had driven in along with uncle and aunt, college friends and others. There were about 60 people there. We had appetizers and a big cake. I can't believe he pulled off the surprise without me suspecting a thing! Last night I was so happy.....here I am, married to the most thoughtful, caring man and we're expecting a child!!!! I don't care if I'm 40 yrs. old.....LIFE IS GOOD!!!!

We had our last baby class today. Lukas is not moving around as much as he has been but maybe he's in a different position and he'll start up strong again soon.

Awwww Lara your DH is so thoughtful. I've never had a real surprise party. My bachelorette party was a total surprise though. I threw my hubbs one a few years ago and it was really cool. He was stunned! Happy birthday!

Megan- no I'm not on any BP meds at this time. I go back to the doc on Monday to review the results of the urine test and blood work. Then I have an ultrasound on Tuesday. I hope I don't have to start doing anything different but I will to keep my babies safe. I really don't want to wind up in the hospital.

well ladies i am in the hospital, after my dr visit i was omitted i have funneling of the cervix no going home. i am so emotional i take sleeping pills to rest at night, baby fine and normal. i am in the same room when my son died in 2001, and around the same time so yes pressure and all are up. i will be here till delivery. i just packed a bag tues, submitted all paperwork and contacted ped. for hunter. they have me on blood thinners, and strict diabetic diet, laptop not working and i forgot to use my phone. being at home on bedrest is one thing but hospital is lonelier. it is hard trying not to do dajavu, i know this baby will survive i am knocking on 28 weeks so i am buying more time but my emotions are crazy, say a prayer for us, and i hope every oehas a nice thanksgiving

I'm so sorry Childless. I understand some of the feelings you are having. Tomorrow (Sunday the 22nd) is the day we lost our little girl last year- she was stillborn. This has been a really emotional and bittersweet time. Hang in there girl. Your baby is going to come out so big and healthy. You are in the best place to make sure baby stays put. You can do this. The reward will be so amazing!
