2 Week Wait after IUI

Hello Ladies,

Well..I never thought I would say this, but I am in the 2 week wait. I had my IUI yesterday and everything went really well. I didn't even feel anything, which was awesome!!! I started my prometrium pills this morning- which will be taken 2x a day -vaginally. LOVELY, I know! haha! So we shall see what happens. Anyone in the 2 week wait after IUI please share your symptoms feelings etc...I am a little crampy today- but nothing like yesterday and my boobs and nipples are VERY sensitive..I am thinking that it's all from the OVIDREL though. I will monitor my symptoms and keep you al posted..of course I am dying to find out if I am preggers or not..but just have to be patinet until June 2!!! AHHHH! Anyways- please post and let me know how you are doing and if your in the same wait time as me! Would love to hear!!!

Jenny- we are in the same boat- although i did not do IUI, my AF would be due June 2nd! I am very crampy do doubt from the Ovidrel- BB;s are fine but they look huge! Nice for a flat girl like me!!!

Hi Caryn,

Oh good..I actually go in for blood work on June 2nd to see if in fact I am preggers! HAHA! :) That just sounds sooo strange to say that! Well I will keep you posted on my symptoms..right now only really bad boob pain-- especially on sides and nipples oh man..soooooo sensitive! haha! :) SEVERE nipilitis! haha! :) Glad we are in this together! :)

Hello there!!

I feel the same with my bbs sore on the sides and on the nips. Wearing a bra is actually more comfy than not wearing one. Are prometrium pills progesterone support? I'm on Cinone 8% which is proget. support. I go in for my 1st blood test after IUI on Thurs. to check progest. level and then on the 29th for Beta to see if Preggo or not. How crazy of a wait will that be waiting for those results to come back??? Sending you all lots of BABY DUST!!!! :O)

jen, your prob more sore since its been awhile since your last ovulation. The prog will make your bbs sore and is the grossest thing when its coming out - hey?

UPDATE- RE just called I have a progesterone test scheduled for Friday May 23rd.. I triggered on Saturday...and then they sheduled me a BETA on June 2nd at 5pm!!! Unless AF shows...better Not!!

HAI jenstate i did my iui on may 14 so my two week wait is still going on my bb are sore but no cramping this time thank god i am going fr beta on may 28 soooo nervous goodluck to u tooo BABY DUST TO ALL...

they took one fr me on the 2 day after iui but they dont do anything after that they asked me to take one shot of the ovidrel after the progesterone test...i thing it just boots the progesterone level...

My RE does prog tests at 7DPO but not all do, esp if you are on the prog suppositories. YOur body obviously has enough with that.

Hello,

How is everyone feeling? I went for my progest. test on Thursday, 7dpo and IUI. I call a phone tree for the results (recording of all blood work) and they said my level was wonderful at >40 I really wanted to know the exact level because I'm keeping track of all that but the 1st time it was only 18.1 so this is good. I will ask for exact numbers when I go next thurs for my Preggo TEST!!!!

hello everyone today is my 9dpo after iui no cramps till now bb are sore but other than that nothing is wrong just keeping my fingers crossed until wed for my preggo test this is the first month i have gone without cramping ....BABY DUST TO ALL

I had my first IUI on May 16. I'm OK but my husband has low count, motility and close to 0% morphology. So, we didn't have much hope. This was my first month doing clomid. Last weekend on 9 DPO, I was so exhausted and took a lot of naps during those few days. I've never got my AF later than 13 DPO but maybe it's different this month because of the drugs, etc. I started feeling cramps like my AF was coming and also night sweats which has happened before AF before. I couldn't stand it, so on 13 DPO I took a test in the evening and it was negative. So I thought I'd get AF the next day because I had slight brown discharge and mild cramping. Well, today it's 15 DPO.....no AF, no spotting, no cramping...... Should I take a test tomorrow morning? I'm freaking out here!
