2 days late, still neg

I even did cervical checks, and there is nothing to be had. I feel nauseated, my breasts are huge and tingle and my face has exploded. Yes, you guys can tell me that those are pms symptoms all you want, but those are not my pms symptoms. this is the exact same as I felt the first time i was susbtantially pregnant.

problem though? i'm now out of endometrin. I'm supposed to keep taking it if I'm pregnant, of course... but I have no clue. Would my doctor give me a 24/hr blood test? Is it the endometrin thats screwing around with my clockwork cycle?

Annie do you know when or if you ovulated? Because you can ovulate anytime during the mth. PMS symptoms varies from women to women plus can mimic pregnancy symptoms. If you are getting BFN and no sign of af coming you could have either not ovulated or ovulated later than you thought. Do you use opk's and/or bbt temps? If you are out of meds that the dr has told you to take you need to contact them.

I dont need opks or bbt... I know I ovulated. I feel it. I did so on 14, like I always do.

June 17, 2008

OK Annie opk's and/or bbt's are tools to help you and us to make sure you ovulated. Even if you know when you ovulated this tools helps you and us to make sure it does happen and also we can help you out better. That is what we are here to do is help you and others. I wish you luck and ***babydust***

I feel completely yacktastic. I need to pee more often. I see a commercial for McDs and I want to hurl. Yesterday I passed out on the couch at 7! How am I not turning these stupid sticks pink, or blue, or + or | or whatever damn hoops they want me to jump through? And of course, the fact that I'm not doing any of those things to a stick make me nervous that if they do a beta, and I'm at like, 30 or so and not turning anything, and yet pregnant, it will be yet another nightmare scenario.

I'm waiting another half hour before I call my doctor's office and beg to come in for one of those quick yes/no beta tests. Or at the least, a full quantitative beta that I can get back tomorrow. My body is totally not in period mode. There is not one indication that full on bleeding is imminant. I'm too good at giving myself cervical checks.

Is it that you, honestly, sometimes, dont turn a pee stick? If someone can point me to a successful pregnancy where the lady didnt turn the damn stick in the first few days after the period was missing, then I will calm the fuck down. But I havent seen that.

Let me remind you all that I am clockwork. Even after the miscarriage, 5 weeks later I was golden. Back to normal. Back to 27/28/29 days as a matter of fact. I am not late. I do not have irregular periods. I am Puerto Rican... you can set a clock by our native genetic anatomies!

I ovulated around (yes, I do not subscribe to actually buying more technology to tell me something that I can feel) 16 days ago. I felt it, I saw the spotting, I know it happened. So why oh jeebus why am I not bleeding or turning a stick?!

Annie I understand the state you are in. But the facts are that you can ovulate anytime during the mth no matter who you are it can happen. Without using OPK's and BBT's or progestorne test on 7dpo we really don't know when or if you ovulate. Now I have been in your situation and I'm clock work but then all of the sudden things are changing with my ovulation time. That happens and it is normal. If you are late and no BFP on a hpt you have several things going on.

1. You didn't ovulate like you thought you did or didn't even ovulate at all. This happens and that is normal no matter what. This is the reason why you have not having a period and why there is no BFP on your hpt's.

2. You hear stories that woman don't get +hpt or +beta until later on that is untrue and the reason is that they also where not tracing their ovulation time....very simple fact

3. When you ovulate you will be getting your period 14 days later (given +/- 2days)...unless preggo.

4. Implatation time is 6 to 10 days after ovulation. When the embryo implates it takes a couple of days for the hcg (pregancy hormone) to start increasing that is why the earliest you can take hpt is 12dpo because if the embryo implates on 12dpo then you should be having enough hcg in your system to get +hpt....now for a BFP it would be 14dpo.

5. What you are feeling could be progestorne which is the hormone that is produced after ovulation. If preggo it should con't but in your case I'm thinking you have ovulated later than you thought.

your Dr may not be able to do a 24 hr blood test, but the ER can. So, if u really wanna know, best is to go to the ER directly. One hr, ull have the results.

To your question abt -ve HPTs after the day of missed period, then probably not, in a healthy pregnancy, u will get a + atleast on the day of the missed period. Like angel says, the only reason the stories are out there abt not getting a + for 3 months into the pregnancy is because they simply didnt know when they Od and its absolutely normal to be late and it does happen. You say ur clockwork cycle is 27/28/29 days. Clockwork is just one number there. So, its very possible u ovulated a couple of days later than u know coz u get ur period 14 DPO. So, I would say its early for a preggo test (thats why the BFN) or AF on its way in a couple of days..Hope its the former with ya. Good luck

June 17, 2008

erm... what happened to my post?

June 17, 2008

So, my post was removed... why? I dont have a clue. No one sent me a message telling me why my post was inappropriate. Nothing. Just pure censoreship.

Have fun with your uber inclusive little clique here, ladies. I'm going back to my blog.

Did you have another post that got removed? I didn't see another one, sorry.

Personally, I believe that until AF shows up, you have a chance of pregnancy... the later AF is, the higher the chances. I also believe that you know your body better than anyone else. Go with what you feel.

Did you decide to have the beta done?
