Hi, I am new to the site. I am 10dpiui and am having af cramping. Feel like she will be making an appearance any moment....

I have 1 daughter who is 19 months old. She was conceived naturally first try! We have been ttc for over one year and finally turned to iui. My husband is older and had had a vasectomy over 7 years ago. He had a reversal and 5 weeks later our daughter was conveived. We found out that he has a low sperm count....

It is my first iui and do not expect it to work....I am just dissapointed about the af like cramps, lower back pain, headaches, sore breasts....etc.

As far as I know this is a very normal feeling to have this close to AF. BUT I have read that for the first 6 weeks or so of pregnancy you can have cramping due to your body trying to adjust to the new baby in there. This is nothing to worry about, it may actually be a good sign. GOOD LUCK!

Thank you for the words of encouragement. I am now 11dpiui and we saw our doctor yesterday for a follow up on what to do next if this 1st iui does not work. My husband will be undergoing more test to see if his sperm is creating anti-bodies (basically rejecting his body). So I am waiting until af arrives or until day 15dpiui to book the appointment.

Last night I had lots of lower abdomen disomfort, went pee twice during the night, feel nauseaus this morning, headache and breast are sore....

BUT again, it may be just af symptoms & my hoping that I am lucky and get a bfp. But I know deep down it is unlikely....

Thanks! Unfortunately, af started this morning : (

At least the 2 week wait is over. Am turning the page. Am going to book an appointment for dh and his sperm analysis....
