Mild elevations without a fever or some other significant symptoms, then it's usually of little concern

thanks...I feel great ( i was hoping to have more symptoms by now). The dr. said that they will not persue anymore testing because I feel good. She didnt tell me how elevated it was so I am hoping it is a little and not a lot :) Congrats to you. The heartbeat is so amazing. I've never been pregnant this far to see it before...

Congrats Jessica! I am 6 wks today and hope to see hb next wk at my u/s.

White blood cells get elevated when you have an infection. So you aren't feeling ill, but it could possibly be a uti, or bladder infection etc. Your doc will figure it out and give you antibiotics if needed..and your lil bean will be fine!
