Lori and Wendy- I agree the ttc struggle has brought my DH and I closer. We have always been close but it has brought us even closer. We are a team. When people make stupid comments, etc it is US against them :) I know when we finally get that BFP there will be nothing anyone can do to bring us down from cloud 9. Hopefully that will be really soon :)

I have to agree w/Lori that this TTC struggle has made DH & Me so much closer. While he does not always know the right words to help me he ALWAYS knows when to reach out & hold my hand or hug me & let me cry. So in that way, he knows exactly what to say I guess, which is nothing-cause all I heard all the time is advice & suggestions & they are not always welcome, lol! It's nice when someone knows to just be quiet :)

Also, you ladies have been a big source of comfort & support & I thank you a million times over!! Love Ya!

My husband is cute. Anytime he THINKS I might be pregnant he tells me, "Stay away from the cat box! I don't want you cleaning it... just in case." It's cute.

I think the most supportive people have been DH, my Mom, my best friend, and YOU ALL!

DH has been patient, there and waiting days I didnt feel like I could go on, days once I was pregnant when I have been completely a bear and or completely non- functional. Hes been supportive and lifted my spirits, prayed with and for me and has really been wonderful. Some days I have honestly thanked GOD for this TTC struggle because it has made a tremendous difference in my marriage, we are closer than I could have ever imagined- sounds funny to say, but Im SO thankful for that.

My Mom and Best friend have always remembered all important appointments and have called me for the updates and have cried with me and have celebrated with me. And most of all they just listen.

My bestest buddies on here have gotten me through some rough days- in TTC and pregnancy. THey have been entertaining and cheerleaders and Im so greatful!

Caryn~ Isn't that the truth! I think we have tried IT ALL too. We haven't told a lot of people but some friends that know give us position advice too :)

Well, I have alot of friends but not many know of the struggle.. but most of them try to give me support like "Hey try this position! LOL" Which is funny, and kinda helpful.. but not really since we have tried IT ALL~!

But maybe it would be "One day, you'll be blessed again with another baby, keep trying"

LOL...laura that is GREAT. Your boss seems wonderful! I guess since nobody knows about us TTC, the nicest thing anyone has said is my dh "when you get big preggo, you won't have to clean the horses stalls for a while"...LOL

Honestly the only person who has been so nice about my TTC journey has been my boss...my 42 yr old married, male boss LOL. He is a doc and I started venting about my cycle one day and got really embarrassed about it b/c I was speaking to an "older man that I worked for" about it and he said it didn't bother him and I could talk to him about anything I wanted..he said stuff like that dosn't bother him and I obviously need someone to talk to or else I wouldn't have blurted it out like I did LOL. So, other than hubby, he knows every detail about my cycle.

He is always making lighthearted jokes and trying to say things about TTC to make me laugh. If I'm having problems with my cycle he is always trying to make jokes about it to make me smile. I told him during my last cycle that I may have to take Provera to induce AF and he said "Uh-oh! I'm gonna have to bring out the tarps, its gonna get messy in here!" He so silly! It really helps to joke about it like that sometimes LOL. I have an obscure sense of humor myself so the personal jokes don't bother me.

DH has a low sperm morphology and my boss refers the the bad sperm as the "nerds on the baseball team who are sitting on the bench refusing to go into the game" LOL. (DH knows nothing about my boss knowing he has morph issues...he would be pissed!) LOL.

Well I really enjoyed the post about the stupid things people say and do so I thought I would post the opposite~ the nice things people have said or done. I know I get a lot of support on here because we all know what eachother are going through. A lot of my friends don't understand because they have never been through anything like this.

My best friend however, has been awesome through my ttc journey. I have been having a rough time lately. I just had surgery Tuesday(laporoscopy, hysteroscopy, d&c, and dye study). During the surgery they found that both my tubes are blocked. They attempted to remove the endometriosis in my tubes and I have another dye study to determine if it was successful in a month. My dr. has warned me that it is a highly unsuccesful surgery though. If it did not work we will be down to IVF or adoption as our two options. My best friend lives in Guam and set her alarm (due to the time difference) to call me to check how my surgery went. I was devestated to say the least and told her the news. I told her I was ok. (Like I tell everyone). She responded "I know you are not ok and that's ok. You don't need to be ok. You have every right to be devestated and to fall apart for a little while. When you are ready we will pick up the pieces and figure out what to do next" That was the nicest thing anyone has ever said to me. She knows me better than anyone and it is so nice to have a friend I don't have to put on a happy face for. Anyone else have stories of people who have said really nice things to you during your ttc journey?
