On an earlier question Dr. Eva said that progesterone supplements should be started around 3 dpo to help correct an LPD. I have been told that progesterone supplementation before implantation and can interfere with implantation. Is this bad information? TIA.

New comment from Dr. Eva Littman

<div>Yes, that is not accurate at all, progesterone actually helps maintain the uterine lining. Here at Red Rock Fertility Center, we use progesterone supplementation on all our cycles and in our women with recurrent pregnancy loss.</div>
