Wow greatful... that is almost kinda freaky :) Considering that we are preggo pretty close to the same time! :) I agree with the "great to know other people have the same problems"... cause we feel like we are aliens out there all alone, even though inside we KNOW we can't be the only ones :) And this site helps :) Nice to meet you.

Your story is so similar to mine in certain areas! I am 24 also my husband & I married in 2007 also & I had been trying to get preg since feb 07, I have anovulatory cycles & irregular periods! It's great to know we aren't alone..this site is great it's great to know other ppl have the same probs.

Hey Maggie well.. as of today I started back on Provera to make AF come in town...I was on provera before b/c AF wasn't coming every month. Just to let you know if its your first time on Provera it will start the day after the 10th day you've taken the pill. I was taking 10mg of Provera at that time and now I'm down to 5mg and I will start taking Clomid as well...

We've been trying for a year and I have PCOS and I'm a diabetic. Its been hard but we will be okay!!

Hello Maggie and Welcome!! Be warned this is a pretty addictive site, I find myself checking in several times a day!! I have a healthy beautiful 4 year old son, and have been ttc for number 2 for over 2 years, have had 2 miscarriages. It has been 6 months since last miscarriage and have been ttc for 4 months now, had first round of clomid this month. I too have long cycles between 32 and 37, but I do ovulate on my own, however OB consultant thought clomid would do me no harm. Wishing you lots of baby dust in your journey, hoping it happens for you soon!!

Hi Maggie! I have only been on the site a month or so but all of the ladies are so nice & helpful!

We're TTC #1 also & today was my 1st visit with an RE after 2 months on clomid.

i was told that if you have regular cycles up to 38 days then you are ovulating - welcome to the site maggie, this is a very helpful, wonderfully loving place to be with all the stress of TTC.

i hope you and Dh are blessed with a child very very soon and that we can answer any questions for and be supportive in your journey.

I have been trying for just a year now and have been going to an RE which is a fertiltiy doctor since July of last year. I have been thru 2 IUI's with fertility injections as well as a round of IVF and now i am just entering into another round of IVF with hopes that this one will work.

Much luck and baby dust to you, seems like you are on the right track with the ovualtion tests and talking with your doctor.

I have a 32 day cycle and i typicaly ovulate around day 16 or 17.

My Dear Husband and I met at our job at a local restaurant in a small town community in Ohio. He was the kitchen manager and I was a waitress. My co-workers kept trying to get us together, but there was quite an age difference (he's 11 years older). I actually never really considered it, I thought he was cute and all, but too old. So after quite a bit of pressure, he asked me out. Well, I turned him down. Three times! I finally said yes... and we hit it off quite well.

We dated for a little over 3 years before we got engaged. We were married on 7.07.07 in Las Vegas. Mainly because I didn't want a big wedding, and it just seemed like an incredible day to get married in Vegas. It was incredibly HOT out there - averaging around 110 degrees the whole week. We went to the Grand Canyon for our honeymoon. We had a fabulous time!

I work at a Family Physicians office as a receptionist and I see so many women come in for their pregnacies and every time I feel a little piece of jealousy. My only brother and his wife, have just had their 2nd child. They got married 1.5 years before me and have been popping unexpected children out ever since. Lol. They keep getting pregnant by accident, and then here I am - trying SO hard! It's SO unfair.

I was on BCP for a little over 3 years. I have always had a deep desire to have my own children. I heard it can take time to get back on your regular cycle after being on the pill, so I stopped taking it. I did this 1 year prior to my wedding because I knew I wanted to get pregnant right away. I didn't have a period on my own for 6 months after that. Then I had one. Then it went another 7 months before I had another one. Finally, starting in July of 07 (1 week after we were married) I started regularly having a cycle. I thought, wow, this must be it!

In December 07, we had been trying for 5 months after my regular cycles, with no success. So, I started using OPK's to track my LH surge to see when I was ovulating. According to those, I was ovulating around CD 21. I did the BBT tracking, but never really had accurate results, I think I must move around too much in my sleep.

In April, after 4 more months of not getting pregnant - I went to see my OB/GYN. This was the first month since starting the OPK's that I didn't have an LH surge. My cycles have been about 34 days, which was a sign to him that I wasn't ovulating. Which is interesting. He said my cycles were too long. He did a Progestorone level and of course it didn't show that I ovulated... he is thinking maybe I am just ovulating on one side some months and not at all other months. So with my history of strange cycles - he decided he wants to start me on Clomid.

We did a SA on my DH and it came back at 40% mobilty (normal is 75%). This could have been because the lab didn't check it in time, so we have to repeat this in a few weeks to be sure that there isn't a problem with DH.

So, in order to start Clomid, I have to have a cycle. So I am taking Provera to get a AF, so I can start Clomid on CD3. I am on my 6th day of Provera and still havent started, but I was told that it may take up to 10 days after my last pill for it to work.

So, here I am. Waiting it out. Which seems like forever!
