Just be careful Jen! The H1N1 virus can cause respiratory problems in small children. Watch that his fever doesn't go to high and that his lungs don't sound to fluidy.

Hey guys,

Memphis is sick and so am I. I just have a small cold. Memphis has a fever and a cough and is stuffed up. Poor little guy I feel SO bad. Question for you guys, when your little ones get a little cold or seem sick how long do you let the symptoms go before contacting your Dr? I don't know the normal time frame for a baby his age to fight off an infection.

He had his 4 month checkup Monday. He is 13 lbs 26 inches long. He got his shots, much worse than last time he screamed so much and I couldn't calm him down for a while I felt so bad for him. I'm wondering if he isn't sick from his shots?

Dr gave me the go ahead for solids so I got a bunch of veggie baby foods and I'm going to start feeding him :)

I am NOT pregnant. Thankfully. Wasn't quite ready for that yet. I want them to be close together but not too close. I want to focus on Memphis and let him be the baby for a while. I'd like him to be out of diapers before my next one is born. lol.

Not to scare you or anything but ...

1. I got pregnant while on the pill when I was 18.

2. I know SEVERAL people who tried for a year+ for their baby juts to get pregnant within 2 months of delivery of their baby. In fact my 1 friend I mentioned it to her as a joke when 3 months after her baby was born she still didnt have a period ... WELL guess what? She took a test and it was positive, she went to the Dr and she was 14 WEEEEKS! Her 1st baby was born in mid Feb and her new baby is due Dec 1st! ANYTHING is possible!

Good Luck and keep us posted! I have heard that you are more/most fertilie after a pregnancy/birth. While breastfeeding is supposed to inhibit that I know of lots of women who still got pregnant. Can't wait to hear!

It is pretty common to not get a period for that long especially if breastfeeding. But my sister in law got pregnant again when baby Tanya was just 6mnths old! She had to try to get pregnant with Tanya for about 6yrs. It is also pretty common to be more fertile after having a baby.

I think I might be pregnant again... maybe I'm just trippin lmao idk... I'm having weird symptoms and I havent had a period since birth but I was BFing until 2 weeks ago. I've been on the mini pill since Memphis was 9 weeks old and had sex once before I got on it. I highly doubt it but I just keep having this gut feeling I might be I want to take a test to ease my mind but I feel like a fool. How could I go from infertile for 4 years to getting pregnant on the pill? I must be crazy. What do you guys think? I sure hope I'm not but if I am oh well I guess its meant to be. I don't think I am but not having a period and having weird symptoms has me wondering...

Hats off to 3 months Jen! I'm new at nursing and it is so hard! I'm so nervous about going back to work and keeping up the nursing in 3 months. Good job on your 3 months and don't feel bad.

Been trying to have our first baby for 3 years as of October 2008. My husband is 24 and I am 23. We were best friends in high school, I've known him since I was 6 years old. We've been together 6 years on November 2nd =)

Been married for 3 years. Bought our first house a month before we got married. We are hard working and honest mid-west people. =)

After stopping birth conrtol pills I did not have a period for 13 months. Then once I got a period every month I tried naturally for a year, nothing. So I went to the Dr and found out I do not ovulate on my own (even though I get a period each month I fall into the 20% of women who get a false period but do not ovulate) I'm on clomid right now.

First round 50 mg- No ovulation.

Second round 50 mg- No ovulation, but on huge follicle at least. Progesterone level 0.8 on cd 25.

Third Round 100 mg- 3 mature follicles, ovulated cd 15.

Nov. 29th 2008- GOT MY BFP =)
