Krs, with all that you and DH have been through to have little Jakob, there is no doubt that y'all have all the love in the world for him. I haven't been through what y'all have, but I don't think I would have been able to go through that much and not give up. You two must be very strong and now you have the miracle that you waited so long for. Spoil that little boy to death and take comfort in your decision to let him have y'all all to himself.

Krs, there is something VERY special for having only one too, I had only one for almost 4 yrs now and it is truely a blessing as well. So enjoy your little one!

Thanks Jennifer. I haven't logged on in awhile either. It's been pretty tough to log on. I have been on facebook more because it is an app on my iphone.

DH and I decided not to try for another one. We decided that Jakob is our miracle baby and that's all we are going to have. I wish you the best of luck!

Krs he is absolutely adorable!!!!! I'm never on here much anymore so I didnt even know you had him! i'm so happy for you. He really is so beautiful. Congratulations hun!! Isn't is so worth the wait?? I love being a mommy. Trying for #2 now :-)

Congratulations Krs, he is beautiful. I agree mommyhood is tiring, I find the middle of the night feedings really rough! It's all worth it though :)

Thank you. Being a mommy is def. worth the wait but very tiring. Dh was home with me the first 3 weeks and then has been working non-stop to make up for his 2 unpaid weeks. It's worth it though because he comes home and plays with jakob. He is off tomorrow and the next 5 days.

Christmas was good. Very hectic because we had to go to two families but it's finally over. We are going to spend the day at home tonight for New Years Eve as a family.

The article was a little off. We had 15 total treatments: 8 IUI's and 6 IVF's.
