Thanks. yes it is all dependant on the situation of each person. Today I have an ultrasound to make sure it's just hormones and that all's in tact in there..

some ladies do need progesterone to help during the 1st 12 weeks of pregnancy but most do not.

I have had 2 children, no issues and then now 2 m/c and had a fine progesteone level with each of the m/c's. I was taking progesteroen as a precaution during my IUI's and IVF's.

I've been taking fertility aid for almost 2 weeks. I think maybe the reason why some people are miscarrying are just due to their hormones eg/maybe not enough progesterone..my Dr. said if I got a BFP while taking Fertility aid I would still need prometrium till the fetus takes over...am going to talk about at my 1st RE appt. next week.

fertile aid wont give you your period hun, its just spose to help you be more healthy, hence more fertile.

thanks! i am going to look that up.

i am on clomid...but i am also taking wheat germ oil, omega3, red raspberry leave pills, and vitex. so hopefully this 4th round of clomid and all this stuff will really work!

i dont think that the fertile aid made me misscarry - i think it was just bad luck to be honest. i had another miscarriage and had not been taking the fertile aid. Thx for your kind words geraldine :)

Dawn - if you google "sperm meets egg plan" a site will come up and it just gives you a good plan and tips to maxamize your chances at conception.

yes, just normal conception but lotsa lotsa scheduled sex :)

i dont know that it has a miscarriage issue? It spose to just help you to have a regular cycle so that its easier to pin point an ovulation date..... maybe if you are conserned about it you can take it up until a week after ovulation and then stop and then start again if you get AF. You can also just take a pre-natal vitamin while you are TTC and skip the fertil aid. I took it and actually ran out b4 i ovulated so i wasnt taking it and i got pregnant but lost the baby at 5.5 weeks. I really dont think it had anything to do with me getting pregnant or loosing the baby -

My RE says they are good but couldnt say that they would get me pregnant - we used the sperm meets egg plan and got pregnnat the 1st time doing it and it didnt stick.... it was very dificult but now that its been awhile its nice to know that we are able to get pregnant - thats a big plus.

I've been looking into Fertilaid, but I wouldn't be able to handle a miscarriage. Does anyone know any statistics on this? I know that once you find out you are pregnant, you are supposed to stop taking them and start taking prenatals...

Ok, in reply to someone's post.... Clomid only cost $9 at Wal-mart???? I paid like 30 bucks for the generic at Rite-Aid when I was on it last year!

here is an article from newsweek that i thought may help since you dont have insurance anymore. THis talks about infertility and your diet, very interesting but rather long. Anyway, also i have read that eating a lot of yams in the first 2 weeks of your cycle is the same as taking the drug Clomid.

okay ladies, so as you may know i'm no longer taking clomid, (due to my insurance i can no longer see my doctor) so ive decided that something is better than nothing at all. so i was on babyhopes.com and found 2 different meds that pretty much do the same thing but i was wondering which one would work better...has anyone used either FertilAid or Fertility Blend, and which would you reccomend???
