Hi dr... i tried ivf because of pelvic adhesions discovered during a lap for ectopic pg and had bad embryo quality both times. We're not ready for an egg donor (i'm 35), but with an endometrioma on left ovary and an ectopic pg removed from right tube, i'm wondering what to do. Why the bad embryo quality with ivf but not with the embryo that developed into the ectopic? Also, with the ectopic we...

New comment from Maele

Thank you, and one more question... do you think I should get tested for any implantation problems before my next attempt... I know there are several things which might be an issue, "might" being the operative word here since there doesn't seem to be any definite answers when it comes to endometriosis.

New comment from Dr. Q

Welcome to FertilityTies Maele!

You're asking the Million $ ?, Since you can develop an ectopic, chances are that you can develop a good embryo...

I've seen several cases where there are poor embryos transferred, yet yielding normal live births

You may need to give IVF a few more attempts, it usually does require this, and hopefully you'll come out a winner shortly

*****BabyDust*****
