New comment from chelsharmony

Hey Brenda, i dont have a clue what embryo glue is but i had a transfer a few months ago and it doesnt hurt at all. My office does give valuim as well and it just relaxes you a bit. The only thing that is uncomfy is you have to have a pretty full bladder for the transfer so you have the pressure of the ultrasound machine pressing on your bladder so they can see where the embryos need to be. I thought i was gonna pee on the table for sure! LOL!

For the retrevial they kinda put you under and you are a bit sleepy and kinda sore, like period sore, for a day or 2 after that. When you awake you are not all groggy so that is nice.

When will you start the process? I will be starting next sunday with birth control pills and then with injectables in 4 weeks.

Good luck to you, its a rough road but if you need to talk im always here!!

Embryo Glue is used at some centers, but only a few as studies towards it's use have been inconclusive at best...some of the studies developed by the creators do show some benefit, but the results are controversial..

Valium can be given at the time of transfer...it's not truly painful so that anesthesia is not generally given..

******babydust******
