Okay here is an FYI..if you know someone who is taking this or if you ever have to take it Loestrin Fe is low estrogen and if you don't take it at the exact sametime everyday it will cause you to bleed because it is so low in estrogen. So the Dr. told me to double up until the bleeding stops. I took an extra one lastnight and it is already working. So I will take two today as well..hopefully that will do the trick.

hi Tammie, i have had two laproscopy's i didnt have any cysts so im sorry i cant help there but i can say it is a simple precedure and nothing to worry about, just letting you know its nothing awful hun.

Hi Tammie,

Sorry about your loss this past July.

When missing birth control pills there's always the possibility of spotting so that could be what's going on. you can also search on this site for the word "laproscopy" to find more information about it and others who have gone through it who might be able to help you try to understand the reasons why this is being recommended by your doctor.

Dr. Q Frustrated help (if you can)

Okay I if you recall (lol) I had a DNC at 10 weeks on July 22 and on August 24 starting bleeding thought it was my period BUT it never stopped. I went to the doctor on September 17th he put me on Loestrin 24 Birth control and told me to take those and give my ovaries a rest. Well I am bad with with pills so I have been taking them at different time during the day maybe 2 to 3 hours off from when I started.

They did stop the bleeding. Know I am bleeding again. I thought it was just a little break through bleeding (I know that can happen) but I have taken 12 of the pills and started spotting a few days ago and know it just seems like a period. Is this normal? I don't want call my doctor again he may think I am crazy. I have an appointment on Oct 21. Suggestions? Also I am taking meridia 15mg could that be it(lost 8 pounds so far)? I am just concerned he mentioned a procedure to me called a laproscopy (to remove cysts) but I just don't want to have that done. Also he checked my testosterone it was 68 and he said all my other levels were great. I take 3 metformins per day. Any thought Dr Q.?
