I would call Hope, bleeding like a period is too much IMO for a hemmoroid.

Ya know, I always loved this ob and she is one of my favorites but this last appt she rubbed me wrong. Doesn't she know better....you don't mess with a VERY pregnant and hormonal lady. lmao :)

Hey, how's your headache doin?

OMG how insensitive of that ob. I hope she does not have to come for ur delivery.

I understand what u say. Yesterday I bled like a period while doing the potty and I have not called the Dr as yet coz they tend to down play it sometimes, I see another OB as well on Friday when I go and she may say Hey we told ya its a Hemmeroid. lol But common bleeding like a period.

Thanks Maria, it just bothers me to call cause at my appt the other day the doc was like, "ok, you're worrying and we need to get this pregnancy over with for you, don't we?" That comment really p'd me off. I have not been one of those pregnant ladies that calls every 5 minutes, I ask wayyy more questions on here then I do when I am at an appt and I have only called twice, once I was spotting and the other I had diarrhea for 12 days...so I think both calls were warranted. Don't you!

New comment from Sar22222

The doc was only concerned about the GD because his abdomen is so large for how far along I am. I am not concerned I have it, but she said when babies have a larger abdomen like mine in the 95th percentile that is a good sign of GD. I was just like, wth with her wanting to wait 3 weeks before testing me again for it.

New comment from Dr. Q

Agree with 007, doesn't necessarily mean you have GDM, some people just have bigger babies (Does that mean that all Football players were in a GDM mother?) no...if your tests were ok...then chances are you're ok...if truly worried, have a 3hr test done like 007 said

New comment from AshersMommy

Sarah, just because the baby's big doesn't absolutely mean you or him have developed diabetes. Asher was 9 lbs 5 oz and 22 inches long. He was a big boy, but completely healthy and I never developed GD. If you're now worried about GD you should call your Dr and tell her you want to go ahead and do the 3 hour test.

Dr. Q-Big baby question

I'm sorry to post another question on the same topic, maybe you missed my other post.

My 34 wk u/s yesterday showed the baby measuring at 6lbs, 3oz and 17inches long with his head being in the 85th percentile, abdomen in the 95th and legs in the 70th. He also seems to have broad shoulders. My obgyn wants to do a repeat u/s in 3wks (I'll be 37wks then) to see if he continues to grow a lot, with her concern being his abdomen being larger that may be a sign I have GD that went undected, even tho my 28wk 1hr test was fine and there was no sugar in my urine yesterday. If he is 8lbs or so in 3wks she'll have me do the 3hr test and then "coach" me on the possibility of needing a c-section. I'm confused, if she suspects GD, why wait 3wks to have me take the 3hr test? Also if he is already a good size baby, why not induce me at 37-38wks so I can try to deliver vaginally? What do you think?

Should I wait to ask these questions at my next appt in 2wks or give her a call? I hate to be that annoying pregnant lady...

Thanks Dr. Q :)
