I went in for my 1st IUI today (saturday). They gave me a trigger shot and about 1 hour later they did the IUI. I am CD 12. I had 2 follicules, one 27mm and one 17mm Dhs count was 10 million with 94% motility. When I got up, there was liquid in the table and when I wiped, there was cloudy liquid.

That sucks Jessica, about ur Dr not accommodating u. U r paying them, and this is not a routine exam that were going thru, were trying to make a baby!!! Sometimes the Dr's can be so insensitive!! I don't mean to sound so negative, but I have gone thru a neglecting Dr myself and it really upsets me.

Sending u lots and lots of baby dust

I had my 2nd IUI done Yesterday, 2 mature follies 20 and 23 triggered Thursday, they don't tell me the numbers of DH sperm after washing, which is weird?? They say their strong strait swimmers... anyway best of luck!!!!!

Did they wait that long b/c they aren't open Sundays? If so, might think about consulting an re...I was much happier when I did that over a regular obgyn!

Good luck!

Thanks. I am going back to the dr. Monday morning. It will be about 48 hrs after the trigger. I have a feeling the timing was all off this month.

And re-reading this...27 mm is a very mature egg..so they might have done iui today just in case it ovulated b/f the 36 hr mark?????

Hello

No, the iui will bypass the cervix and put the sperm right into the uterus...they will not fall out with an iui. The wetness was just loosened cm due to the catheter and speculum..very normal! Usually, they do iui's 36 hrs after the trigger. They must have done one today to make sure all bases were covered. Generally 20 million is what they look for..but it only takes one and iui makes it that much better b/c the sperm are washed. Hope this makes sense and much luck!!!
