Nicki~ They should double every 48-72 hours or 2-3 days. Here is an HCG calculator.

http://www.justmommies.com/pregnancy/hcgcalculator.shtml

New comment from Chas

Nicki, I just went through this 2 weeks ago. My levels dbld the first time, but not the next 3-4 times. They went up just not dbl. My Dr said not in all cases will a woman loose the bby. Sometimes you may be earlier then you though, or that your body is simply not producing enough. I did loose the baby, and there was nothing I could have done to control that. If the pregnancy is lacking chromosones it can not completely develop. If you are pregnant keep close eye on your levels. You may be perfectly fine. Also pay attention to any spotting accompanied with pain. If your levels are low with a slow rise it could also be ectopic. If cought early at 6-7 weeks you can salvage a tube and not face a ruputure.

I hope that this helps. I wish you all the best of luck and happiness.

OH YEAH! your levels do not have to dble but at lease rise 60% every two days......as long as this is happening there is always hope.

Sorry I didnt mean to post nothing. LOL. I was wanting to know about HCG levels. I know they say they are supossed to double ever other day. But if they do not double but go up does that mean its not a good pregnancy and your goning to loose the baby?
