My levels dbld the first time, but not the next 3-4 times. They went up just not dbl. My Dr said not in all cases will a woman loose the bby. Sometimes you may be earlier then you though, or that your body is simply not producing enough. I did loose the baby, and there was nothing I could have done to control that. If the pregnancy is lacking chromosones it can not completely develop. If you are pregnant keep close eye on your levels. You may be perfectly fine. Also pay attention to any spotting accompanied with pain. If your levels are low with a slow rise it could also be ectopic. If cought early at 6-7 weeks you can salvage a tube and not face a ruputure.<br/><br/>I hope that this helps.
