I had bacterial vaginosis infection several months ago. I went to the doctor and she gave me antibiotics. My husband and I have been TTC for about six monts and have not gotten pregnant. I was wondering if that bacterial infection could have caused scarring in my tubes?

New comment from Dr. Q

<div>Bacterial Vaginosis is not associated with blocking or scarring of the tubes, so not to worry. Unless your >35, give it a few more months and am hopeful that you'll conceive shortly on your own. If >35 or have tried for over a year, then would consider talking with a specialist. Good Luck!</div>
