I am on CD17. I usually ovulate CD18-CD20ish. My fertility monitor has been reading "high" for 8 days now. I thought I would have peaked by now. Could 8 days of "high" readings (meaning my estrogen surged a week ago) indicate a hormonal problem? My doc just beginning to monitor my hormones and I am going in for a progesterone test next week (CD23). DO the 8 days if high readings mean anyth...

Even if you've used it before, this particular monitor doesn't know you, so what I said before still applies. If you don't get a Peak in 2-3 days, then be worries, but it's probably right around the corner for you! good luck- and BD!

Is the monitor new for you? If so, it's totally normal to have tons of "high" days the first month you use it. The first month, it's just extra sensitive to any changes in your hormones. The first month I used my monitor, I had 12 days of High (I ovulate late on CD 21 or so). The second month, I had 7 days and the third I had four.

If you usually don't O until 18-20 and it's only 17 today, you will probably peak in the next 1-3 days.

Good luck, and start bding!

Doesn't necessarily mean there's a hormonal problem...
