New comments on 'conception rumors, are they true?'

Do I need to stay laying down on my back after sex to help my chances?

If you don't use a lubricant will it hurt your chances of conception? We do not use a lubricant. Should we?

I read somewhere that saliva is NOT sperm friendly, if so, should we refrain from oral sex while TTC?

New comment from HopeN

1. Dr Q says that the good spermies would get on their way up to the right place even if you dont lay down. But it doesnt hurt either to keep a pillow on under ur butt for about 15-20 mins

2. Yes. Lubs are not sperm friendly even if they say 'does not contain spermicide'. There are some natural things you can consider like vegetable oil or preseed. I havent personally uesd these, but have read many on this site do and find it helpful. Dr Q says one can use Vegetable oil as a lubricant if need be.

3. Yes. Since, saliva is not sperm friendly.
