I went thru IVF for the 2nd time and at 6 weeks there was a sac and the start of the fetal pole and then at 8 weeks no heartbeat or fetal pole, no baby :(

2 weeks after that i still was not bleeding so they put these pills into my vagina to force the m/c.

I had a very large cyst and thats probably why i didnt m/c on my own but either way it stunk.......

They probably took a level of progestereon to see if you ovulated or if you are close to getting AF and if not take those pills to trick your body think you in deed did ovulate so you can have a bleed and start over...... uggggg so annoying hey?!?!?

oh I'm so sorry. That's really difficult. If you don't mind my asking, why did you have to have a forced m/c? I have never heard of that, and I'm very sorry that it happened to you. I had an m/c in March so I know how difficult the whole process is.

I finally went to the doc today because a couple of weeks ago I was spotting so I figured I'd get my period and I never did! Weird! He took a bunch of blood to check for pregnancy, low thyroid and a hormone I can't remember the name of. Pregnancy was negative :(, and I don't know about the other two yet. If they are normal then he will give me progesterone. What a mess!

yup, same thing here. Just got AF 4 days ago after my forced m/c 6 weeks ago. Happy it is here but also another reminder that i am not still preggo - i would have been 16 weeks now...... ugggg!

Well I have good news and bad news, actually it's the same news. I FINALLY started my period today. Bad news cause I'm bummed, but happy that it happened naturally and now we can try again. :)

Yes unfortunately. They are a bunch of idiots but happen to be about half of what the other insurance companies costs. I just can't afford to use a different one right now. I could pay double what I'm paying now, and not get half of the things I get with Kaiser. It's a catch 22.

is kaiser your insurance company? Thats pretty crappy - a woman is spose to have a period each month and if she doesnt there is somehting goin on so they should help. Idiots!

I asked my doc about it and he told me I had to wait another 30 days and that was about a week ago. At Kaiser they won't give you anything to jumpstart your cycle unless it's been three months since your last period. So I'm just waiting and it's driving me crazy!

you should ask them to give you something to start your period so you can move on with life. You can take provera or take b/c pills for a few weeks.

Its gotta be rough waiting for something to happen. That happend to me 1 month that i had huge cysts.

I just wanted to give an update. I'm now 41 dpo, it's been 65 days since my last period. Obviously still no period or positive test. I hoping that in a week or so I should get a period, but who knows. I have a feeling I'll have to go in and get progesterone. Still very frustrated.

I am 98% sure that ovulated. I had a shift in my basal temp, I had the egg white discharge, and a positive opk test (which I did correctly, I know a lot of women don't and then get a false positive). I am also pretty sure that I felt it as well. Unfortunately, I have stupid Kaiser so they won't see me about this until it's been 3 months since I had a period, so I have to wait another month to talk to someone about it.

Lisa are you positive that you ovulated...for example used a opk and got your progestorne levels checked to verfiy ovulation? You might want to visit your dr to check if there is a cyst that is preventing your period to come.

Well I am up to day 52 of my cycle with no period or positive pregnancy test. It's been 28 days since I ovulated and today I finally went in and got a blood test done and it came back negative. What do I do now? Just wait around until I get a period? This is so frustrating and disappointing.

Lisa another thought for you if you can use the clearblue digital hpt....and make sure they are a fresh batch ok sometimes you can get a bad batch of hpt's...it's happen to me but years ago;)))))

Thanks! I called my doctor and unfornuately I have Kaiser so the earliest I can get in is in 2 weeks. Ugg. They wouldn't schedule me an appointment with Urgent Care because they don't work with hormone problems in urgent care. I don't even know if it is a hormone problem, that's just my guess. On Monday I am going to try and get in to see my mother in law's OB/GYN. I just can't stand the wait, and now I'm nervous that I might have low progesterone levels and end up having another miscarriage,that is if I'm pregnant. I know a woman who didn't have trouble getting pregnant, she had trouble staying pregnant because she had low progesterone levels. Not good. My last miscarriage happened around 5 weeks, and that's how far along I will be when I finally get in to see my dr. I just don't want to wait that long, I have this gut feeling that something is not right.

It's been 23 days since I ovulated and I still have not had a period or a positive pregnancy test. I've been charting my cycle, taking my basal temp, and used an opk test so I'm 99% sure of when I ovulated. My husband and I had sex the day before and the day of ovulation. My cycle is normally 39 days long, with ovulation on the 24th day and a luteal phase of 15 days. Is it possible that I'm pregnant or that something is wrong with my hormone levels?
