New comments on 'coming off birth control'

Dr. Q, I stopped taking birth control pills after my period at the end of June. My period began July 27. It was lighter than my periods were before I ever took the pill. Does that mean I didn't ovulate in July? I didn't get pregnant which is a concern to me. You have said there could be a slight delay in fertility. How long and why? I am 27 years old.

New comment from Dr. Q

At most about month...

For all we know Jan, this could be breakthrough bleeding and not a true period you just had, or the full flow is yet to come in the next couple of days...to difficult to tell right now without testing and only time will tell
