New comments on 'Causes of sperm issues?'

What causes subnormal sperm values such as low count (20M), motility (25%)and morphology (2%/strict Krueger)? My husband is healthy, 36 years old, doesn't use hot tubs (maybe twice a year), wears boxer shorts, doesn't bike ride, etc.

What could be causing this? Can anything be done about it? Can he conceive naturally with these values?

thanks.

depends on whats wrong Jan. Some things can be fixed with diet or vitamins/medication but other things cant be fixed or need surgery.

What kinda issue does your man have?

Mine has a 1% morph so that means that only 1% of his sperm are good shaped, quality sperm. Yikes!

If everything has been normal, and this has been confirmed with two different SA done at least 2 1/2 months apart, then most likely born this way...agree with considering taking male fertility supplements though and/or acupuncture

My DH has some similar problems, like with low morph...he never uses hot tubs, wears boxers, doesn't smoke, drinks socially, which is like twice a year. He is a healthy 30 year old. It is so weird, but Christine have him try fertilaid, my DH and I are both taking it, we have heard that it works...you can google fertilaid and read the testimonials on the website. It looked very promising, and LauraM that comes on here her and her DH are also taking fertilaid.
