Dr Q i was put on Clomid before i conceived with my son, it didnt work and so i was placed on Metformin .. a few months later i conceived.

My Ovulation isnt in question though as i use a saliva ovulation detector and i know when im ovulating, Its this mucus thats the problem

Welcome Foxyfemale!

One especially with PCOS should be having periods if not on birth control...

in your case, since you're ttc, should talk to your doc if your fertility testing is normal to give you Clomid to help you ovulate and get pregnant...

Hi Foxyfemale, with ur negative pregnancy test, my guess is its just a random breakthru bleed. I have had PCOS too and I have seen this say around CD 55 or so, but my period never came soon afterward and neither was I preggo.

Having been diagnosed with PCOS several years ago its very rare i have periods but this morning i have noticed a brown mucus tinged with blood, something that i dont normally have with periods.

I have done pregnancy test that came back negative but having said that when i conceived with my son i got a positive test, negative test and an inconclusive from the chemist and so i ended up having my HCG levels tested... im so confused, im wondering if you could shed light on this for me... normally when i start my period im in pain but im not this time and so it leads me to beleive this isnt the start of my period.
