    Jacob

    A 2-year-old boy.

Jacob was born 6lbs 13oz and 19.5 inches. I went in at 2am an had him close to 7am. When i got there i was at a 2 and the contractions were really close together. They got everything hooked up and because my BP was high they put me on pitocin right away. They said if i my bp doesnt go down i would have to have a c-section. An hour later i was at a 10 and they wanted me to push without any pain meds (ABSOLUTELY NOT) haha i screamed no and said give me an epidural. Luckily i got an epidural and i slept for the next 3 hours and i was woke up being told to push haha. So i pushed a couple times he was out and he was perfect! :) Love my little man more than anything

    A 0-year-old girl.

Went to the hospital at 4am and had her at 6am! Here it goes got there in totally labor horrible pains, asked them to get me meds right away since i went so fast last time. They gave me the stadal which did nothing at all. I was only at a 1 when i got there but i went to a 10 in an hour! She said time to push heather and of course i screamed no again with this one but they wouldnt give me an epidural. So i ended up pushing screamed one time and she was out within like 3-4 pushes. Everything was perfect and i wouldnt change it for anything. :) I love my little girl. I got to leave the very next morning because they wouldnt let me have my little man stay over night with us so i couldnt stand to be in there without him.

    Cailum (Cale-um) Michael Mannon

    A 0-year-old boy.

This is our first baby and he is perfect in every way. We could have never imagined our child being this perfect =) I thank heaven for him everyday! He was born March 18th, 2010 @ 4:09 PM weighing 7 lbs. 7 oz. @ 19 1/2 inches long. Via C-section ( he was born exactly at 41 weeks) after 7 hours of labor with no medicine and only making it to not even a full centimeter. I had gone in the night before and had a gel put in and then did 7 hours of Pitocin and I just wasn't progressing so we decided to go for the C-section. I had to go under but I still remember seeing him for the first time and it was just amazing. We love Cailum with every little ounce we have in us and cannot wait to watch him grow.

    Chynna ( pronounced China)

    A 16-year-old girl.

This is my first born. Chynna was born in Bamberg Germany. at the Bamberg klinkum, SHe is both German and American. When she turns 18 she will have to choose ... but she has told me she would keep both. so i will have to get her an American.

my Labor and Delivery with her was straight up hell. she just didn't want to come out. i went into labor on feburary 18th on her dad's birthday and i was in labor from the 1 till the 20th when they had to do emergency C-section. on the 20th at 2:58 am when she was born.

This is how it went, was admited on the 18th in the evening and i was already 2 cms and she was breached, they did all the prepingme to give birth.. so they shaved me half way for a natural birth and gave me an enema... in which i hated.. but that is routine in Germany. well after all that good stuff, NOT well i really liked sitting in tub with warm water and milk and a scent that they put in the water to make me relax. I wanted to have a water birth. But i never got to have one with her. then i was in there for about 30 minutes and then i wanted to get out... i was getting to hot and stuffy in there. they let me get out and they checked me i was at 3cm ... to remind you no pain meds ....YET!!!. then they gave me an U/S to see if she had changed her postions... nope ... still breached. the dr. decided to do inversion on me... which is to turn her externally with the guide of the U/S machine. they got her to turn ... let me remind you again. still no pain meds... i was in so much pain once they turned her. she was head down for about 20 minutes when i felt this bad pain all over my belly and they did another u/s and she turned her self breached again.after that i told the drs. just take her out i was in so much pain. so they left her like that and told me that if they can get me to dilate they wiull dilvery her breached. i was like " on no you won't" you will knock me out first before you do that one. so they let me labor a few more hours and i asked them if i could go to sleep and they say yeah sure go ahead.. every 3 to 4 hours they keep checking on me and i would dilate but i didn't want to have her breached so the next day in the evening i had them try one more time to turn her but they turned her internally i was already 5 cms. and the dr put his whole hand inside of me while i was on the bed with an u/s anf another dr pushing and turning her and the dr. held his hand in me for about 5 minutes to make sure she would stay... and he pulled out his hand very slowly. when you put your kids down for a nap and you try to get out of the bed with out him/her waking... that is why he did what he did. 2 hours later after they turned her. they checked me and i was at 7cm and she turned back breached. let me remind you again. still no pain meds at all just an IV for fluids. then after she had turned they kept monitoring her heart on and off after each attepted of turning her and the last time they turned her, her heart beat went from 165 bpm to 70bpm and they asked me that we are going to have to do the EM. C-Section and i signed the papers and they had knocked me out completely and she was born 2-20-94 at 2:58 am weigh 6 lbs 12 oz. 20 inches long.

to this day now i would not take it back it was so worth it. i wanted to have no meds and i got that till they sedated me completely.
